Knitting strictly on circs
September 16th, 2004
I’ve read somewhere that some knitters are abandoning straight needles altogether and reaching for circular needles for EVERYTHING. Now, maybe my circular needles suck, or maybe I’m too much of a knitting newbie, but I think this practice is ridiculous. The points on my circs are much pointier than the ones on my straights. I don’t like that. They are short, it’s hard to hold them. And the curly line that holds them together just gets in the way, tangling itself in my working yarn. I don’t think this is the way to go at all. But that’s just me.
