Keeping Myself Amused

I’ve finally found the perfect distraction for the overdue pregnant girl: Sudoku! No more sitting around, staring at walls, WAITING for contractions to come.

Also, thanks to Ryan Ozawa, I’ve found this gem: Joe Moore is fed up with this crap. Love it.

sling and baby! (but not mine)

Okay, so those of you who still want to buy me things, I have an idea for you: the heart 2 heart baby sling. It comes highly recommended by some of the mommies in my local AP group. (I found a used one locally for even cheaper!) I’ll also be needing more diapers for when the baby gets bigger, but I don’t want to come off as greedy or anything.

Size long. You can pick the fabric.

Anyhow, today I’ve been watching Stace have her baby! Don’t worry, there aren’t actual pictures. But she’s at home, doing her home birth thing, and her mom has been updating us on the website. If you get here in time, check it out! I haven’t had this much internet fun in forever!

Recycle!

You know what I hate? The large pile of recycling that builds up in my house. See, the idea is to only let the pile get so big before you go down to the recycle place to drop off all the stuff. But like normal people, we tend to get lazy. So the pile that’s only supposed to be three feet high before emptying, sometimes turns into a mound that is hugely unsightly. The last time we took the recycling out, the pile was taller than the garbage can. And those pizza boxes – they are HUGE. Oh, and the milk jugs…

Anyhow today I think I may have solved the problem. I just signed us up for curbside recycling. Hopefully with a weekly pickup, we won’t have the problem of crap stacking up in the kitchen.
