Lost Again

So.  It doesn’t look like Benjamin was born on the island after all.  Looks like that Portland, Kahaluu place.

Jacob is either made up OR Richard is some sort of threat.  Did you see the way Ben freaked out with Locke said he was going to go to Richard?

Okay so now it’s obvious.  He wasn’t born there.

Oh look, the pier has an official Dharma sign on it.

Why are they being welcomed with ti leaf/orchid lei?  That seems a little…  out of place.  I mean, “Namaste,” – here’s yer lei.  That’s not quite right.

Why the shock at the mention of Jacob?

How come Tom and Richard aren’t helping Ben?

John Locke is becoming the alpha dog, says Jim.  Woof.

Geeze so much information here.  I think Ben doesn’t really see or hear Jacob.  He was just hoping Locke would.  Of course, Locke isn’t dead.  He has magical healing powers.  I’m glad to see more backstory on where Ben came from, who the others are, and what became of the Dharma Initiative.

Also, Richard doesn’t seem to have aged.  When Ben made that comment about Richard remembering birthdays – that makes me think Richard is really, really old.  Or dead.
