I’m re-reading “Why Girls Are Weird” right now. Well, maybe not RIGHT NOW. No idea why I think I need to be 100% honest about it, but I am re-reading parts of the book while on the toilet. It’s a funny book, and I’m always in the mood for a little pamie. (Wouldn’t a little bathroom computer be nice – so you can catch up on your favorite websites when on the pot? Just ignore the gross factor and think about it – everyone has a little something in the bathroom that they read, and I know I can’t be the only one who gets sick of reading the same copy of O magazine over and over again.)

Anyhow, there’s this story of the Tiny Wooden Hand that Pamie has written, where it’s Christmastime and there’s a tiny wooden hand back-scratcher that becomes a joke and one of the characters goes on and on about how he can do all kinds of things with a tiny wooden hand. He even goes so far as to pay the pizza boy with the hand.

And then it all sounded familiar… My not-so-secret theory is that Pamie needs to be sending the folks over at Pushing Daisies a bill for her idea.

(I have not been keeping up with Pamie’s website, so if she has already been paid by the PD people, please let me know so I can go back to sleeping at night.)

So. It doesn’t look like Benjamin was born on the island after all. Looks like that Portland, Kahaluu place.

Jacob is either made up OR Richard is some sort of threat. Did you see the way Ben freaked out with Locke said he was going to go to Richard?

Okay so now it’s obvious. He wasn’t born there.

Oh look, the pier has an official Dharma sign on it.

Why are they being welcomed with ti leaf/orchid lei? That seems a little… out of place. I mean, “Namaste,” – here’s yer lei. That’s not quite right.

Why the shock at the mention of Jacob?

How come Tom and Richard aren’t helping Ben?

John Locke is becoming the alpha dog, says Jim. Woof.

Geeze so much information here. I think Ben doesn’t really see or hear Jacob. He was just hoping Locke would. Of course, Locke isn’t dead. He has magical healing powers. I’m glad to see more backstory on where Ben came from, who the others are, and what became of the Dharma Initiative.

Also, Richard doesn’t seem to have aged. When Ben made that comment about Richard remembering birthdays – that makes me think Richard is really, really old. Or dead.

Because there’s nothing more boring to read than someone live-blogging a tv show…

Let me start out by explaining that I was totally going to not type and watch this one, because I’m betting it’s not nearly as good as last week’s, but then that first scene happened and I couldn’t hold it in any longer!

LG walks into the cake store and says, “Hey Sue, I’m here to pick up the cake.”

She then slides over her credit card, has a talk with Sookie, signs the credit card slip, and walks out. No cake. Maybe in Stars Hollow “picking up the cake” is code for “I’m here to pay for the cake.”

She left her coffee and snacks on the counter.

Grandparents singing. Love it.

Uh wait. He isn’t supposed to do that here!

Ridiculous. Give her the stupid necklace.

Emily, Richard and Lorelai are walking on the Yale campus talking about some writer who spoke at the ceremony and WHY DID I NOT KNOW THIS??? Did you see the little flash at the bottom of the screen, the one that says “series finale next week” – I am so sad. I suppose this means Rory can move to California. But I’m telling you, Luke and Lorelai had better get together already. Because you know, she will allllwwwaays love yooooou.

Logan is so cute in his little suit.

Next week better be good.

So after weeks of saying “we should really be live-blogging as we watch tv,” and mostly because last night’s gilmore girls was the best one ever, and I totally called most of the episode – and just so I’ve recorded this for all the world to see, Lorelai is going on the boat trip with Luke.

Here goes nothing.

Oh yeah, I forgot about his “father” being in the box. Is it *really* his father? He doesn’t KNOW if the guy is his father, and after he tricked him out of a kidney, I’m not sure why Locke believes the guy.

But why does the “father” think John should know where they are?

Where are they going!?!

It’s five tents… She’s going to be eaten by a grue! (I guess I was wrong.)

I don’t trust Locke. But I suppose that’s the point.

Remember when Juliet made the recording? Didn’t you suspect that she was lying? Like, she was impregnated prior to coming to the island, which means she isn’t in danger of dying, but Juliet lied so it would look like she saved sun’s life when she doesn’t die. (Jim says I’m totally wrong, and he makes a good point – she has no reason to lie to Ben too. We could see if she were just lying to the non-others, but she’s lying to her Other team as well…)

MAGIC BOX IS A METAPHOR!

The file doesn’t say why the father shot himself, so does that mean the Others NO NO NO. HERE. Sawyer, the orignal con man who swindled James Sawyer’s father, is Locke’s “father.” Locke is pretending not to know that part. But he went back to camp specifically to get James Sawyer, and I think the Big Reveal is coming up.

Jim says Locke KNOWS about this relationship and is lying to Sawyer when he pretends he doesn’t know why Sawyer’s dad killed his mom and himself.

I thought the Others edited the file. But why else would he bring sawyer back to the other camp? Jim must be right this time.

Bunny with a number. What does that mean?

Hey, look it’s the Mittelos Bioscience guy. I think that’s the first time I’ve seen him on the island.

Okay, so who brought him to the island? Was it John Locke or Sawyer who used the metaphoricl box?

They’re totally not dead. This trying to get us to believe it is ridiculous.

Because I missed the boat the last time, I’m recording this now… Sawyer’s con man who got his dad to lose all the family money and John Locke’s dad are the same guy. (If this was already officially revealed, color me embarrassed, I’m not always the most attentive of tv watchers.) I don’t remember them showing the guy’s face in Sawyer’s flashbacks and I’m not about to go fact finding on the internet until I’ve written this entry.

Edited after three seconds of googling: Apparently I’m slow and this was discussed back in 2005…

See, the whole Claire is Jack’s half sister thing – I meant to record that for the world to see because I called that one when the camera flashed on the blond woman that Jack’s father was having the affair with in Australia. Once that was confirmed I was “I told you so”-ing the air, because I didn’t take the time to tell anyone! So now I’m going to go ahead and share my lost opinions, far-fetched as they may be.

Okay so while I’m on the topic of recording my theories… This box. If there really is a box and it’s not some sort of metaphor or code that Ben has made up, I think Walt also used the box way back when he read Hugo’s comic. Polar bears. And just so you all know, Jim believes that The Man From Tallahassee was on the island pre “box.”

And the song! When Jack was playing the piano – did you catch that look on Kate’s face? She knows it from somewhere.
